ISN Project

Kremić Pharmacy

Kremić Pharmacy is a privately owned public health institution and at the same time the largest in Zadar County in the field of pharmacy. Kremić Pharmacy was established in 2001 and is located in Zadar. It carries out its pharmaceutical activity in 3 pharmacies. The main activity of the institution is the supply of pharmaceuticals and medical products to the population, health care institutions and other legal entities, as well as to health care professionals running a private practice. In addition to pharmaceutical supply, other activities are also carried out: manufacture of medicines and their quality control advice on prescribing, i.e. on the correct use of medicines, medical, homeopathic and dietary products with the aim of promoting health and achieving a better pharmacotherapeutic effect advice on self-treatment and education of the population.

Medical School Ante Kuzmanić - Zadar is a high school institution with a long tradition that educates personnel in the field of healthcare: nurses / technicians, physiotherapists, pharmaceutical technicians, chemical technicians, dental assistants, dental technicians and the experimental program of the Health Gymnasium. In 15 classes, the school today has 376 students, 54 employees and 7 external associates, employees, and the teaching base of the profession is, as in the past as it is today, the Zadar General Hospital.*

The University Department of Nursing of the Croatian Catholic University offers studies in the field of biomedicine and health care - Nursing study. Recognizing the needs of the modern development of nursing as a profession, as well as the European standards for the development of nursing as a scientific biomedical discipline, nursing studies are divided into two stages: a three-year undergraduate nursing course, which is completed with the academic title of university baccalaureate of nursing, and a two-year graduate nursing program, which is completed with the academic title of a university master/university master of nursing.


Croatian association of patients with lung cancer and other lung diseases

The Association of Patients with Lung Cancer and Other Lung Diseases aims to maintain the health and improve the quality of life of patients with lung cancer and other lung diseases. This includes: *Implementing preventive measures that help reduce the number of patients (especially initiating and supporting all activities related to smoking cessation). *Promoting screening for vulnerable groups (smokers, malignancies in the family, exposure to harmful environmental agents ...). *Education on the importance of newly diagnosed patients starting treatment as early as possible. *Psychological support for patients and their family members. *Organization of charity events with the aim of raising money for the work of the Association and helping sick members. *Help in obtaining medicines and aids to make patients' lives easier. *Cooperation with other similar associations for the exchange of experiences, but also with institutions that can concretely help the families and patients.


Croatian Association for Lifestyle Medicine

The Croatian Association for Lifestyle Medicine is a non-profit organization founded in September 2021. CroALM brings together doctors, health workers, kinesiologists, nutritionists, and psychologists interested in promoting and using the principles of lifestyle medicine in the prevention, treatment, and improvement of chronic non-communicable diseases. The association's mission is to integrate lifestyle medicine into the Croatian health system, enable multidisciplinary cooperation in research, education, and practice, and promote a healthy life in order to reduce the burden of chronic diseases on our society. The goal is to promote evidence-based knowledge and principles of lifestyle medicine in universities, among healthcare providers, non-governmental organizations, policymakers, institutions, and the general public to help restore human and planetary health. In order to be at the very source of scientific information and best practices and to promote work in lifestyle medicine in Croatia, association is involved in international cooperation with European and world associations for lifestyle medicine, as well as other world associations that share our dedication to the principles of lifestyle medicine.
