Innovation
Early physiotherapy interventions in critically ill patients can facilitate breathing, reduce symptoms, anxiety and depression and prevent the development of complications.

Evaluation System
These patients are susceptible to secondary bacterial infections due to their reduced immunocompetence, so removal of bronchial secretions is necessary for treatment. In milder stages of the disease, early physiotherapeutic measures can prevent the development of fibrotic changes in the lung interstitium and subsequent disability.

Assessment
This practice contributes to a faster removal of bronchial secretions
