Rehabilitation of patients with COPD-effect on FEV1

Description
40 patients diagnosed with COPD took part in the study. They took part in a pulmonary rehabilitation program three times a week for 6 weeks. Before and after the program, spirometry and forced expiratory volume in the first second were performed. The measurements at the end of the program showed a significant improvement compared to the measurements before the program.

FEV1 before rehabilitation was 37.89% or 0.995 l (between 0.41-1.78 l), and after rehabilitation 40.98% or 1.08 l (between 0.55-2.3 l)
