Description
Based on the initial measurement of 6MWT, physical activity in the form of walking was suggested to the patients, according to the recommendations of the European Respiratory Society (ERS). In the first month after the measurement, the patient walked 5 days per week with 50% of the expected number of steps, in the second month he increased the activity to 75% of the expected number of steps, after which the first control measurement was performed. In the following two months, the patient continues to walk 5 days a week at 75% of the expected number of steps, after which a second control measurement is carried out. Following the same principle, physical activity is continued for the next two (2) months, after which a second control measurement is taken and the results of the first measurement are compared after the second month and after four months. A total of 30 people participated in the study who met the inclusion criteria, completed a full pulmonary rehabilitation program and followed the instructions and recommendations for maintaining physical activity.

Evaluation System
Regular implementation of the recommended level of physical activity leads to a significant increase in functional capacity. The distance covered is significantly greater in the latter measurement. In addition, when looking at the results, a statistically significant difference can be seen in the measurements 2 and 4 months after the first measurement, i.e. it can be concluded that regular physical activity significantly reduces the subjective feeling of shortness of breath after 2 and 4 months.

Assessment
Regular physical activity within individual capabilities and according to the recommendations of physicians and physiotherapists and accompanying a pulmonary rehabilitation program is effective in reducing the subjective feeling of shortness of breath and fatigue in patients with chronic respiratory diseases.
