The BREATH Project: Collaborative Strategies for Comprehensive Management of Chronic Respiratory Conditions conference, held on May 2025, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, was attended by a total of 68 participants, including healthcare professionals, researchers, patient representatives, students, and public health experts. This gathering provided an invaluable platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences, while also showcasing the project's key outcomes. The successful presentation of the project’s comprehensive results marked a significant milestone in advancing interdisciplinary approaches for the management of chronic respiratory conditions.
The conference was held on May 6, 2025, at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, and brought together a total of 68 participants. These included healthcare professionals, researchers, patient representatives, students, and public health experts.
The event began with an opening session led by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Science in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria., and Daniel López Fernández, Coordinator of the Physiotherapy Working Area at SEPAR.

An engaging panel discussion addressed global and national challenges in chronic respiratory disease management, featuring experts from academia and clinical practice, including Daniel López Fernánadez.
The program also included a students’ interactive workshop led by Assistant Professor Ines Carmona Barrientos and concluded with final reflections by project leaders, followed by a closing session led by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Science in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
This event marked a key milestone for the project, providing a collaborative platform to exchange ideas and showcase progress toward improving chronic respiratory disease management.
